Job Overview
We’re looking for an Accountant to join GMG Group at our Dubai head office in Oud Mehta. This role requires someone with 1-3 years of accounting experience, including UAE experience. Responsibilities include checking invoices, entering data accurately, reconciling transactions, creating purchase orders, and supporting senior financial officers.
Job Responsibilities:
- Review invoices for appropriate documentation prior to payment
- Perform invoice and general ledger data entry
- Execute credit card and bank account reconciliation
- Generate purchase orders when necessary
- Obtain and print signatures on all checks
- Assist senior financial officers as needed
Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent
- 1 to 3 years experience, with at least 1 year of UAE experience.
- Understanding of basic principles of finance, accounting, and bookkeeping
- Experience in accounts payable
- Familiarity with accounting software and online platforms
- Candidates must be currently based in the UAE.
