Job Overview
As a General Accountant, you will play a pivotal role in managing our financial operations, ensuring compliance with local regulations, and supporting the company’s overall financial health. Key Responsibilities
- Prepare accurate financial statements, balance sheets, income statements, and other reports.
- Maintain and manage the company’s general ledger and daily financial transactions.
- Ensure adherence to UAE tax regulations, including VAT filings and related documentation.
- Assist in budget preparation and monitor expenses to ensure alignment with financial goals.
- Collaborate with external auditors during financial audits and ensure compliance.
- Monitor and manage cash flow to ensure the financial stability of the organization.
- Perform bank reconciliations and resolve any discrepancies efficiently.
- Handle accounting tasks specific to real estate transactions, including sales, leases, and property management.
Skills & Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of accounting experience in the real estate industry.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Technical Skills:
- Strong knowledge of financial reporting, bookkeeping, and UAE tax compliance.
- Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems.
- Soft Skills:
- Excellent communication and analytical abilities.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
