Job Overview

As a GIT Consultant at AFC Holidays, you will be at the forefront of delivering exceptional group travel experiences, specialising in fixed tour itineraries for destinations across USA, Europe, Asia Pacific, Africa, and Australasia. If you’re an experienced travel professional with a flair for sales, customer service, and an in-depth understanding of international tourism, this is the role for you!

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver dynamic presentations showcasing our premium international tours and highlighting key benefits to potential clients.
• Develop and promote memorable tour itineraries that stand out against competitors.
• Source and convert new business leads into loyal customers, consistently exceeding your sales targets.
• Drive the success of our fixed departure tours, ensuring clients receive the best in service and value.
• Provide detailed information on all travel itineraries, ensuring customer satisfaction and fostering long-term relationships.
• Address any travel-related concerns proactively, ensuring a seamless experience from booking to post-trip.
• Meet and exceed KPIs while maintaining profitability and booking margins.
• Work closely with the team to ensure that every client’s expectations are met or exceeded.

What We’re Looking For:

• Experience in outbound international tourism and group tours is essential.
• A strong understanding of the travel industry (USA, Europe, Asia Pacific, Africa, Australasia).
• Fluency in English is a must, with excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• A Travel & Tourism degree or relevant industry experience is highly desirable.
• Proven ability to manage VIP & luxury FIT accounts is a bonus.
• Attention to detail, a proactive attitude, and a passion for customer care.
