The Head of Inclusion at Model Private School, Abu Dhabi, is responsible for leading the school’s efforts to create an inclusive educational environment for its diverse student body. Responsibilities:
- Create and implement school-wide policies that promote inclusive education practices.
- Conduct assessments to identify the diverse needs of students and tailor support accordingly.
- Provide training and resources to teachers and staff on inclusive teaching strategies.
- Oversee the development and implementation of IEPs for students requiring additional support.
- Regularly review and evaluate the effectiveness of inclusion strategies and student progress.
- Communicate with parents about their child’s needs and progress, fostering a collaborative approach.
- Collaborate with external specialists and agencies to provide additional support for students.
Qualifications:
- Trained graduate or postgraduate in Special Education or a related discipline
- Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience, preferably in an inclusive setting
- Regular course completion and certificate attestation is mandatory
- Excellent proficiency in English
