Job Overview

We are looking for an aggressive and committed Legal Counsel/ Lawyer to join our dynamic team based in Dubai. The incumbent will be instrumental in handling all legal affairs within the company, with a special emphasis on Corporate Law and Legal Due Diligence. This is a real opportunity to make a difference in key legal matters within a dynamic and fast-paced setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Legal Advisory: Provide strategic legal advice on diverse corporate matters, including compliance, governance, mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures, and others.
• Due Diligence: Conduct overall legal due diligence for prospective transactions and projects by identifying and assessing potential risks and ensuring that all legal issues are appropriately addressed.
• Contract Management: Draft, review, and negotiate complex contracts, agreements, and other legal documents to ensure they are of a legally acceptable standard and aligned with organizational objectives.
• Compliance Ensure compliance with local UAE laws and regulations, advise any change in regulatory laws, and follow compliance measures to mitigate the impact of change.
• Dispute Resolution Represent the organization in legal litigation and manage any disputes with the help of an external independent legal counsel, when required.
• Document and Reporting Maintenance of up-to-date, accurate legal records and documents and detailed reporting with insights to the senior management on legal matters.

Requirements:

• Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in the fields of Law, Legal Studies, Corporate Law, or any other related field of study
• Experience: A minimum 5 years of relevant legal experience is required, out of which a minimum period of 2 years should be in the UAE
• Skills: Prove sound experience in legal due diligence and corporate law
