As a Logistics Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting our logistics operations, ensuring timely deliveries, accurate record-keeping, and smooth communication between our clients, vendors, and internal teams. Key Responsibilities:

  • Logistics/Shipping Management: Assist in moving goods by scheduling to tracking to ensure timely  delivery and problem-free arrival of products.
  • Preparation of DocumentsPerform all necessary shipping documents like commercial invoices, packing lists, and customs formsconfirming that information is accurate and presented according to company  requirements.
  • Inventory ManagementTrack inventory levels, record updates to avoid stock discrepancies and assure  proper stock management.
  • Vendor & Client Communication: Communicate with suppliers, freight forwarders, and clients for mutual  comprehension of shipment movement and resolve issues pertaining to shipment.
  • Order Processing: Accurately input orders into the system of the company and maintain timely dispatch.
  • Customs Compliance: Liaise with customs brokers to ensure that imports and exports are properly cleared through customs with as little delay as possible and compliance issues.
  • Problem-solving: Identify disruption in the supply chain and work hard to find an immediate solution to keep the operations running smoothly.
  • Cost ControlOversee the cost of logistics and assist in reporting; this would present proper cost control and budgeting.
  • Coordination with the WarehouseAssist the warehouse personnel in maintaining proper storage and ensuring inventory accuracy.
  • Administrative ResponsibilitiesUndertake general administrative tasks needed by the logistics department, including data entry, filling, and responding to routine inquiries.

Qualifications: 

  • Diploma or degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business, or any relevant course is an advantage.
  • Previous work experience in Logistics will be an advantage. Fresh graduates are also welcome to apply.
  • Proficient in the usage of Microsoft Office applications – Excel, Word, Outlookprevious knowledge of any logistics software will be an added advantage.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, with the ability to professionally interact with all types of stakeholders.
  • Proven organisational skills and an keen eye for accuracy in shipment and record management.
  • The candidate must be able to think critically and resolve problems quickly so that logistics operations function smoothly.
