Job Overview
As a Logistics Officer at Trojan Construction Group, you will be responsible for managing the supply chain and logistics operations to ensure the timely and efficient delivery of materials and equipment. You will coordinate with suppliers, manage inventory, and oversee transportation activities to support the construction projects.
Responsibilities:
- Employee a manager who would supervise the logistics operations including but not limited to procurement of materials, their transportation and distribution.
- One should co-ordinate with suppliers, vendors, and contractors so that they deliver goods on time.
- Be in charge of inventory records keeping and monitoring stock levels.
- Ensure that safety regulations and company policies are complied with.
- Achieve cost reduction and increase efficiency on logistics processes.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain management or related field.
- Demonstrated experience in logistics or supply chain management particularly within the construction industry.
- Good organizational skills coupled with problem-solving abilities.
- Great communication and negotiation skills.
- Proficient in logistics software tools.
- Ability to work under pressure as well as meeting tight deadlines.
