As an Operations Executive in the Dubai Freight Forwarding Division at Livro Shipping, your role involves managing and overseeing various operational aspects of freight forwarding activities. Your responsibilities typically include coordinating shipments, ensuring timely delivery, managing documentation, handling customer inquiries and concerns, and maintaining strong relationships with clients and vendors.
Main Tasks:
- Coordinating and managing shipments from origin to destination.
- Ensuring compliance with local and international shipping regulations.
- Handling documentation such as bills of lading, invoices, and customs clearance documents.
- Communicating with clients, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure smooth operations.
- Resolving issues and discrepancies related to shipments and deliveries.
- Monitoring and tracking shipments to ensure on-time delivery.
- Providing excellent customer service and addressing customer inquiries promptly.
- Optimizing operational processes to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
- Maintaining accurate records and documentation of all transactions and activities.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in the Dubai Freight Forwarding industry.
- Strong knowledge of freight forwarding operations, including documentation and customs procedures.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in relevant software and systems used in freight forwarding.
