Role Overview: As our People and Culture Officer, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping our school’s supportive and inclusive environment. From recruitment and onboarding to performance management and employee relations, you’ll ensure adherence to best practices and compliance with UAE labour laws.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the recruitment process and conduct orientation sessions for new hires.
  • Maintain accurate employee records and handle HR-related documentation.
  • Implement fair performance appraisals and support improvement plans.
  • Foster a positive work culture and resolve conflicts.
  • Identify training needs and promote continuous learning.
  • Manage employee benefits to ensure competitiveness and compliance.

Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor’s Degree is a minimum requirement. Preference will be given to candidates with recognized qualifications in Human Resources or professional accreditations related to HR.
  • Candidates should possess at least 3 years of experience in a supportive HR role. While familiarity with UAE Labour Law is advantageous, it is not mandatory.
  • Proficiency in maintaining accurate records and documents, ensuring meticulous attention to every detail.
  • Skilled in using Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and ideally familiar with HR management systems like iSAMS, facilitating efficient administrative tasks.
  • Strong ability to organize tasks effectively, prioritize workload, and manage multiple responsibilities with efficiency.
  • Capable of handling sensitive and confidential information with tact and sensitivity, providing compassionate support and guidance to individuals.
  • Demonstrates a commitment to delivering high-quality assistance consistently, fostering a dependable support system for the school community.
  • Maintains awareness of regulatory changes in employment laws and company policies, ensuring adherence to updated standards and best practices.
