Zahr Freighters is on the lookout for a friendly and professional Receptionist to serve as the first point of contact for clients, visitors, and team members. This role is vital in creating a welcoming front-office experience, enhancing our daily operations, and maintaining our dedication to outstanding service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Warmly greet clients and visitors, handle inquiries, and direct them to the correct departments.
- Promptly answer and route phone calls and emails, ensuring professional communication at all times.
- Schedule and manage appointments, meeting rooms, and visitor logs.
- Assist with basic administrative tasks, including data entry, document management, and office supply maintenance.
- Provide general information to visitors, assist with sign-in procedures, and keep the reception area welcoming.
- Handle incoming and outgoing mail and coordinate courier services as needed.
- Help staff by managing shared calendars, reminders, and schedules.
- Ensure the reception area is clean and well-organised at all times.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Prior experience in a receptionist or front desk position is preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Excellent organisational skills with keen attention to detail.
- A professional appearance and a customer-focused mindset.
- Fluency in English; knowledge of additional languages is a plus.
