Job Overview

As a Remittance Clerk at Al Ansari Exchange, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, processing transactions accurately, and ensuring compliance with company policies and AML (Anti-Money Laundering) regulations. You will handle cash and customer inquiries, resolve issues, and promote products and services to customers while maintaining a professional and organized work environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide fast, efficient, and professional customer service, following the SGOT Rule (Smile – Greet – Offer – Thank).
  • Ensure compliance with AML (Anti-Money Laundering) rules, policies, and procedures at all times.
  • Organize and file all transaction documents according to the company’s filing system and AML regulations, and arrange for document transfer to the warehouse.
  • Independently resolve customer complaints whenever possible.
  • Stay informed and comply with all announcements from the Head Office or Admin Office.
  • Forward any technical support requests to the Admin Office.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including counters, drawers, and tables, following office guidelines.
  • Answer phone calls and provide transfer rates and information when required.
  • Identify and cultivate customer relationships and potential business opportunities.
  • Provide relevant information to the Head Office, Admin Office, or other departments.
  • Promote and cross-sell new products and services to customers.
  • Communicate any training needs to the Branch Manager and participate in training programs.
  • Perform ad-hoc tasks as delegated by supervisors.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree.
  • Minimum of two years of experience in cash handling and customer service.
  • Excellent communication skills in English.
  • Ability to work flexible shifts and at different locations across the UAE.
  • Capable of working effectively under pressure.
