Job Overview
As a Remittance Clerk at Al Ansari Exchange, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, processing transactions accurately, and ensuring compliance with company policies and AML (Anti-Money Laundering) regulations. You will handle cash and customer inquiries, resolve issues, and promote products and services to customers while maintaining a professional and organized work environment.
Responsibilities:
- Provide fast, efficient, and professional customer service, following the SGOT Rule (Smile – Greet – Offer – Thank).
- Ensure compliance with AML (Anti-Money Laundering) rules, policies, and procedures at all times.
- Organize and file all transaction documents according to the company’s filing system and AML regulations, and arrange for document transfer to the warehouse.
- Independently resolve customer complaints whenever possible.
- Stay informed and comply with all announcements from the Head Office or Admin Office.
- Forward any technical support requests to the Admin Office.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including counters, drawers, and tables, following office guidelines.
- Answer phone calls and provide transfer rates and information when required.
- Identify and cultivate customer relationships and potential business opportunities.
- Provide relevant information to the Head Office, Admin Office, or other departments.
- Promote and cross-sell new products and services to customers.
- Communicate any training needs to the Branch Manager and participate in training programs.
- Perform ad-hoc tasks as delegated by supervisors.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree.
- Minimum of two years of experience in cash handling and customer service.
- Excellent communication skills in English.
- Ability to work flexible shifts and at different locations across the UAE.
- Capable of working effectively under pressure.
