Responsibilities:
- Air Freight Export Operations: Documenting,handling cargo, and coordination with carriers, agents, and clients in a proper manner.
- Rate Negotiations & Booking Management: Negotiate the rates with Airlines, manage the space allocation, and ensure cost-effective solutions.
- Documentation Expertise: Handle Air Waybills (AWB), export declarations, customs paperwork.
- Client Relationship Management: Develop and maintain long-term client relationships through the delivery of superior service and support.
- Industry Knowledge: To provide confirmation that all practices are in line with IATA/CASS and regional regulations regarding air freight.
- Proactive Problem–solving: Promptre solution of operational issues to ensure timely delivery and customer satisfaction.
- Growth & Expansion: Provide strategic analysis and identify opportunities that help expand our customer base and improve our market share within the air freight industry.
- Reporting & Analysis: Provide monthly reporting,including shipments, cost, and client satisfaction data points to drive more operational visibility.
What We‘re Looking For:
- Bachelor‘s degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain, or any related field.
- 4-6 years of professional experience in air freight export operations within the UAE.
- Strong network and client base within UAE Air Freight sector.
- Proven negotiation and relationship-building skills with a track record of developing long-standing client relationships.
- Ability to handle high-volume shipments under pressure.
- Proficient in MS Office and other freight forwarding software.
- Attributes: Excel in organisation, communication, and problem-solving skills.
