Key Responsibilities
- Managing the store’s money and keeping records of what has been bought and sold.
- Preparing and checking store cash, sales and stock reports.
- Checking and maintaining accurate financial information related to store operations and expenses.
- Ensuring proper documentation and approval for all financial transactions.
- Assisting with the store’s month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Collaborating with other departments to improve financial processes and efficiency.
- Reviewing how the store is performing, ensuring that budgets and forecasts are followed accurately.
Qualifications
- 3-5 years of experience in a similar accounting role, with a focus on store or retail operations.
- A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, retail accounting, and financial reporting.
- Proficiency in accounting software and advanced Excel skills.
- Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to meet deadlines.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment while managing multiple tasks.
